Materials Included    During this week-long workshop students will have the opportunity to work with Nick on creating damascus billets and forging an integral chef knife.    Focus will be placed on creating and forging a pattern steel billet in which they will forge their integral chef knife. Various patterning techniques will be discussed, and an emphasis placed on controlled hand forging. Nick’s intention with this workshop is to give students the confidence to tackle blade smithing projects in their home shop.      In this in-depth workshop students will be brought through the entirety of the process from pattern manipulation to final fit and finish.
