Join us for a Cambria Iron Works Historic Tour and Demonstration and experience a little piece of Johnstown’s rich industrial heritage. The tour will include two buildings, a hammer making demonstration, and the history of the Cambria Iron historic landmark. Participants will get to see the 4,000LB and 3,000LB Chambersburg power hammers, recently restored to working form, and a live blacksmithing demonstration in our workshop.
Tours will take place on CMA’s campus, 106 Iron Street, Johnstown, PA 15906.
Each tour will begin promptly at 2:00 pm, so please arrive a few minutes early to get situated. The tour will last about 1-1.5 hours.
***PPE is required for the demonstration component of the tour. Earplugs will be provided. It is highly recommended that each tour participant brings their own eye protection, however eye protection will also be available to borrow. Please wear closed-toe shoes.
